February 3 — 9, 2022

Applications to hack are closed.

Road to Web3 is a purpose built event for you to create your first application on the Blockchain.

Take your Web2 experience to new heights and build your first project interacting with decentralized games, DeFi, NFTs, or take something you already love in Web2 and decentralize it! We've gathered the best speakers, mentors, and thinkers in the space to help you learn and build with over 1000 new friends around the world.

Hackathon FAQ

Does Road to Web3 cost money?

Road to Web3 is 100% free for hackers. All that we ask of you is that you focus on building your project, check-in with us on your progress regularly, and participate in the community we build around this hackathon.

What is the stake?

We require hackers "stake" a little bit of money to lock in their position at the event. This stake serves as an extra incentive to build and it is returned after you have completed your project. There are many reasons why someone may have trouble staking, please reach out to us directly if you do.

How many people can be on a team?

You can form teams of up to 5 people. There are no restrictions for team members, so you can team up with hackers of any country or experience level!

Is there a Code of Conduct?

Yes! For years, our core ethos has been to make it easy for anyone to dream big. To that end, we've developed a Code of Conduct. All attendees must agree to and abide by the Code of Conduct at all times.

I'm new to Polygon and/or Ethereum. Can I participate?

Absolutely! This event is specifically for you!
